It was very first days of my collaboration with PKB. I had to design an exterior shell for a huge half of a space frame ellipse. That structure was for few years ago. RBD Construction company as client held a private competition between few architectural firms. The client wanted to redesign and hide ellipse. Therefore change it to a great mall and commercial center.

Firstly, I had to make a form which could provide one important matter; Glorious face which hides the ellipse. It was really important to think about structure through concept design. I was inspired by Persian ancient Arcs and dynamic ideas of Zaha Hadid.

I came up with this dynamic shell. It can give more movement and creativity in elevation, and as a result more defined space for people outside the ellipse.

During design process we used many software. Certainly Rhino and Grasshopper was extremely helpful. In addition autodesk Revit was the best choice to design the structure. This project won the first award in that competition. RBD company started to construct in 2018. In presell phase I designed a catalogue and billboard for this project.

Those days I was thinking of architectural animations. In other words the very first idea for Archimation came into my mind in this project. I made my first animated diagram which explained exterior shell of that ellipse.
